Land Price Bubbles in China and India -- Re: Why Is the US Dollar Index Hitting New Lows?
Jas: "Chinese, on the other hand, are growing the economy via production growth and saving money at the same time. Anyone with some brains can see where this global train is heading."
JS: "What do you think will happen in China when their RE bubble deflates?"
I fully expect China and India to experience a depression. The key question is: What lies on the other side of the global depression. China would come on the top and the two largest democracies would fare very badly. The most dangerous bubble is the bubble in the price of non-agricultural land (land underneath the buildings and not the improvements). It is literally free money. And when the free money evaporates… China and India are primed for a metro areas land price bust rivaling that of Japan.
