New Deal: "…expansion of governmental powers beyond all constitutional grants."
"On October 5, 1933, Dodd [US Ambassador to Germany chosen by FDR] gave a speech in Berlin in which he described the New Deal programs in the following way: "It was not revolution as men are prone to say. It was a popular expansion of governmental powers beyond all constitutional grants; and nearly all men everywhere hope the President may succeed."

"President may succeed" in expanding "governmental powers beyond all constitutional grants?" And break his oath? This was clear to Democrats and FDR's supporters! Isn't that reason enough for impeachment of a President?? There at least was no lying about the intent. Amazingly, the US Constitution has been abused by the elected officials, mostly by Presidents, for so long that the only muster left in the Constitution is mostly for the protection of the Crooks and to make more and more masses obey like slaves used to. BTW, how many American Presidents have been put in the jail? "Rule of law," my ass. According to Confucius, "rule of law" makes the population to be shameless! Results in America prove Confucius to be right.
It is always the rule of men, and the men who rule over Americans, in recent years, are Crooks and their agents. Obama was a predictable outcome and only someone who would serve the Crooks better would be able to replace him in 2012 (otherwise, Obama would get reelected). Unless Americans come to grasp the reality that democracy puts power in the hands of the Crooks, who are not held responsible for anything, they would keep voting like dopes they were bred to be and give mandate to the continution of the System of the Crooks. There are no policy solutions for America's fundamental problem—bad ideas (e.g., govt manipulation of the economy), put forth by bad people (e.g., Bernanke, Krooksman), resulting in bad policies (e.g., exponential growth in deficit spending, including due to tax cuts) that guarantee bad outcomes. The system needs be taken down, destroyed and rebuilt. That is the lesson of history—systems after systems were taken down and replaced. All systems get to the point where they need to be taken down. There is no American Exceptionalism; the only thing we have now is American Extremism—left, right, left, right, left… (From my school drill days). The election of 2012 would be another futile attempt, as were the elections of 2004 and 2008. No real change—Crooks don't want any! The march towards bad to worse would continue on course. Arrogance at full display.
The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States were flawed documents for the simple reason that they were drafted by men who were looking to protect their own interests ("all men" did not mean all mankind!), as was practical for the time, above all else. Who benefited the most and who suffered from the Revolutionary War? Elite of the time benefited the most and ordinary Americans suffered the most (including death and depravation). The dye was cast! At least the elite then were men of honor and class. Today's Crooks have neither honor nor any class. Shamelessness has replaced the old values. Degradation of Americans is thorough. The future leaders, after the System of the Crooks is taken down, would need to rebuild Americans! Deprogramming the dopes!! I know that it is a painful procedure.

Return of Calvinistic brand of Christianity, as a political system, is a candidate to replace the rotten System of the Crooks in America. Unlike the German Hitler, the American Hitler is likely to be a true believer. (The Anglo-American democracy is a Protestant Christian idea, or invention). Crooks have lot to worry and would fight any change tooth and nail.
