The explanation is very simple: Why should a man work if he can pressure the woman to go to work. I wonder if America's women feel pressured or liberated, economically and in terms of family responsibilities. Americans forgot the simple principle of division of labor and responsibilities (people need to read Alexis de Tocqueville's Democracy In America). Women, by far, are the losers in the Women's Liberation game. They got more things to worry about and the pressure shows. Yeah, they got bigger homes to take care of. Amazing materialistic slaves. Their masters are Debt Pushers!
Who needs a husband when one got too many other bosses, or masters, to service. Slavery is new freedom!
