It's Orwellian. A shamefully veiled attempt to force more people into debt servitude. And get this. The proposal comes from Berlusconi's Minister of "Innovation". Good grief, after all the misery caused by Wall Street's financial "innovation" you'd think they would at least give the messenger a less obvious title. I'm thinking Minister of Debt reduction would have been better. ;)

The debt peddling is completely out of hand. It reeks of desperation.
